Rachel Roy is a famous designer that first started in her home town in California. She went to Washington D.C. for college and graduated with a degree in fashion. As she pursued her desire for fashion, she moved to New York to continue her line with other fashion companies like Vogue, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, W, and Vanity Fair. Michelle Obama, Kate Hudson, and Jennifer Gardner, have worn Rachel Roy’s clothing to big events while other people admired their clothing it became popular. Rachel Roy with a young career was asked to be on the Oprah Winfrey show as her line became popular to people all around the world. “My biggest influences are strong, creative women that chart their own path, lead their own lives and drive the course of history”. She is now working at making new clothing while working individually with other designers to pursue her dream as a designer.

Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel is most famous for her Chanel hand bags and designer line. She’s also famous for introducing perfume and pants to women’s fashion. She as a child spent most of her time in a French orphanage where she learned how to sew. She started out by designing hats which attracted the attention of the elite and later opened her own business. To this day she just uses simply fabric to create elegant and understated styles. Her designs are simply and fashionable.
