KUA and Lebanon an Examination By Ashley Oronte

Ever wonder what’s going on at KUA? Here are some interesting facts.
Kimball Union Academy is different from Lebanon. KUA pays money to go to school and has dorms on campus for the students who are from other states can stay there. KUA is like a college; they have stores for student to shop for supplies. They don’t have gym but they have sports to take over gym and the students need to take four years for the credit. KUA goes to school on Saturday half day and then after school needs to do practice for sports or a home game or away game that they need to get ready for and sometimes don’t get home until 5 or 6 in the evening. On Sunday they get a break from school. Lebanon has gym two years, freshman and sophomore years, and you can participate in sports. Lebanon, thankfully, doesn’t have school on Saturday!

KUA has 70% of faculty that live on campus. The student housing can range from, a small house that has five students or large halls that hold as many as 45 students. Lebanon is a public school and you don’t live at campus you live out your house but if you’re an exchanged student in Lebanon you live with another family. KUA also has the option of commuting.
